Awake Sefarad – Phase 1

Shabbat Shalom beloved friends, partners and members of the United Nations for Israel!

Archbishop and Rabbi, together with violinist Joseph Mendez and videographer Jan Karnis, have been ministering in Peru, Ecuador and Chile on Awake Sefarad mission during the time of Hanukkah. Read the mission report from Archbishop Dominiquae Bierman:

ECUADOR- THE LIGHT OF YESHUA IS MORE POWERFUL THAT ALL DARKNESS!

We had an opportunity to talk on a radio program at one of the most important radio stations in Ecuador proclaiming the name of Yeshua, defending Israel and announcing our soon starting Hanukkah event. Please keep in prayer our radio station host Fabian, who is of Sephardic Jewish origins and has a deep interest on Israel and the truth.

We taped many Spanish TV-programs in various crucial locations connected to the history of Sephardic Jews. Pray for these TV programs to be broadcasted far and wide – and finances that will make it possible!

After preaching in Quito we flew to Cuenca and were received by Kehilat Yeshua with flags and dances.
We also visited the oldest cathedral of Cuenca, most likely the area where the inquisition occurred. The conversos were not to enter. I blew the Shofar breaking all curses and all power of the replacement theology over the community, proclaiming Yeshua as Lord!

We also had an outside Hanukkah meeting, lighting up the first candle of a huge Hanukkiah, and many people got healed, delivered and saved. They came to ask for prayer even before the meeting had begun, children included, and were mightily touched.

PERU AND THE FRUIT OF FAITHFULNESS

We were joyfully welcomed to Peru by our delegate to Peru, Pastor Sonia Gotelli-Gonzales and her team. They even had balloon greetings advertising Awake Sefarad Conference!

Warfare was serious during the conference. The PA system blew up even though it was brand new! No wonder the inquisition had its headquarters in Lima!

Nevertheless, the message and the anointing broke through; even glory dust fell on the carpet, people answered the altar call to become true Sons of Zion (Zech. 9:13) and the Ruach moved greatly. Joseph played the violin prophetically without the PA and it was mighty!

“For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; And I will make you like a warrior’s sword.” Zechariah‬ 9:13‬ NASB‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

We had great graduation celebration – our fourth GRM Bible School class graduated in Lima! How proud we are of you all!

We also had a powerful Mikveh (baptism). 10 people went into the waters. During the Mikveh many were gloriously filled with the Ruach HaKodesh and Fire. One of the ladies was so scared to go into the waters, but after her mikveh, she was shining and delivered from all her fears!

We also visited the catacombs at the Cathedral in Lima, near the place of the inquisition. 25,000 people are buried there that “no one knows who they are”. We believe that they were mostly Jewish conversos or “heretics”. And in the midst of this very Catholic setting at the catacombs museum, we found some stars of David! Can’t hide the Jewish presence in this area.

We blew the shofar in front of the inquisition museum and taped many TV-programs with Jan. A Catholic lady gave her life to Yeshua near the main cathedral and catacombs as I finished taping the TV program!

We also broadcasted a radio program with radio La Luz (radio Light!) and another 2 hour radio program with the Assemblies of God that has 5000 churches in Peru!

One of our graduates, Norma, who was our personal assistant during our visit, has renamed her restaurant to Puerto EILAT, after our Ministry headquarters that was in Eilat for years. She also changed the menu to Kosher after studying our GRM Bible School and brought her whole family to Yeshua!

The mission in Peru ended with beautiful testimonies and a farewell night with Kad-Esh MAP Peru. During the evening, I led all the Venezuelan restaurant workers that had to escape to Peru because of the difficulties there, to Yeshua. Venezuela is coming in too!

Great strides have been taken by this beautiful group for the Glory of Yah!

Chile
Temuco, Chile- The Key of Abraham at the Gate that received and sheltered my Jewish family!

What a glorious time in the birth city of my father, Professor Hiram Albala! We were received like Kings and Priests by Pastora Ruth Cheuquepan, a mighty Pastora, intercessor and faithful partner of the Ministry that had taught her people to love Israel. They hosted us in the most beautiful hotel of Temuco and prepared a banquet for us. Together we taped many TV programs, and the testimonies of those of Sephardic-Converso origins began to flow and with them, the tears.

The love and the devotion of this group of Esther intercessors was authentic and refreshing!

We visited the only synagogue in Temuco with the purpose of documenting the history. Here my paternal grandfather, Matias Albala, was the first president of the Jewish Community arriving from MONASTIR, Yugoslavia (today Bitola, Macedonia). They escaped the persecution of the First World War and many more waves of Monasterli Sephardic Jews arrived to Temuco before the Second World War. Those that found refuge in Temuco were rescued from the Shoa, (Nazi holocaust). Those that did not leave on time boarded the train to Treblinka on the 11th of March 1942. None of them returned.

The realization really “hit me” that had my grandparents not relocated to Temuco, Chile, I would have never been born, as they could have all died in Treblinka!

We were well received in the oldest Synagogue of Chile and the second oldest in South America. We arrived there just before Shabbat and were wonderfully welcomed by Javier, the President and Shabtai Cohen (his family brought him to Temuco at the age of 2, escaping the fate of part of his family that ended in Treblinka). With teary eyes he told us the moving story, which Jan, our TV producer from Israel, recorded. After a comprehensive interview we visited the beautiful ancient Synagogue that my grandparents and my father frequented. Our accompanying team of intercessors called me to come out to the foyer where they showed me something that made this visit even more meaningful. There, behind glass doors of the display cabinets of relics, sat proudly and untouched by the years, the Prayer Siddur of my grandfather, Matias Albala, with a simple plaque that read:

I never met my legendary grandfather, whom I knew to be a very important man. This ancient Jewish prayer book that looked very well used and annotated in his own handwriting in the Hebrew language, was the closest I had ever been to him. My eyes and the eyes of many of the ones present teared. Then I realized that his legacy of Presidency of the Jewish community and devotion still lived in me as the President of the United Nations for Israel. Yeshua had rewarded my trip of discovery.

Upon our exit accompanied by Pastora Ruth and her group, I wrote the name Yeshua with big letters on the AIR outside the airport and declared the salvation, redemption and revival of Temuco that had sheltered my family! Then I blew the Shofar which attracted the passer-bys that could not have enough of the Shofar Blow and were in tears. I prayed to come back. Temuco and its people had captivated my heart.

Santiago, revisiting the Sheep Nations visitation 16 years later to the day!

I had not planned it that way, but the end of our Awake Sefarad Mission trip would be in Santiago, the Capital of Chile. It is here that on Christmas day, 25th of December of 2001, Yeshua visited me when He asked me:

How many nations would be Sheep Nations if I returned today?

I realized that there were no Sheep Nations and that Replacement Theology in the church was the criminal culprit. I wrote a book about this that everyone should read!

But it was this visitation in Chile that propelled the vision of United Nations for Israel! But why Santiago? Why Chile? Why am I visiting 16 years later on Christmas again?

Together with Pastora Javiera Jaras and Kehilat Beit Shalom, we stood in the gap on top of the San Cristobal Hill towering over the city, and repented for the sins of church and government in Chile! We released the mercy of Yah over the nation and moved to my beloved Reñaca where we used to have our summer house, to finish this very special intercession according to Ezekiel 22:30.

As a Chilean Jew, I released the blessing over Chile that had sheltered my family during the First and Second World Wars. The realization really “hit me” that, because of Yah using Chile, I was born and my family was not exterminated in the Shoa (Nazi Holocaust).Then I realized why Abba gave me the mighty message of Sheep Nations in Chile! I held the Key of Abraham in my hands to open the Door of Forgiveness, Awakening and Revival into Chile. Moreover it was now clear to me that whoever from whatever nation would join us in the United Nations for Israel to stand in the gap for their nation, we as Israeli Jews could release mercy through them to their nation. Yah made it abundantly clear that the Message of Sheep Nations given to me in Santiago, Chile on Christmas of 2001 has now culminated in the establishing of the United Nations for Israel and that He is inviting all believers in Messiah to join and make History with us!

This Awake Sefarad trip helped us to produce over 40 TV programs in Spanish! No small feat, considering that there is almost no material in Spanish! Many people were healed and saved into the name of Yeshua until the very last day of this journey!
